DFW Airport Ranks Among World’s Busiest—Again
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport has once again secured its spot among the top three busiest airports in the world, with 87.8 million passengers traveling through its terminals in 2024. Only Atlanta and Dubai saw more traffic, according to Airports Council International.
DFW isn’t just busy—it’s expanding:
- Terminal F (opening 2027) will add 15 gates in a $1.6B project
- Terminal C’s $3B renovation will add even more gates and a sleek, modern look by 2030
- Terminal A is getting five new gates as well
As American Airlines’ largest hub, DFW connects travelers to 260+ destinations, including 73 international routes.

New Era in Public Safety: Daniel Comeaux Named Dallas Police Chief
Dallas has officially named Daniel Comeaux as its next Chief of Police, marking a significant new chapter for public safety in the city. Comeaux brings 33 years of experience in law enforcement, including leadership roles in Houston, San Francisco, and L.A., and most recently served as Special Agent in Charge of the DEA’s Houston Division.
He’ll take the helm on April 23, after being selected over two internal DPD candidates. His reputation? Smart, strategic, and highly collaborative.
Comeaux is especially known for reducing overdose deaths and for his emphasis on “old-school” community policing—encouraging officers to build real relationships within the neighborhoods they serve.
